Paco Chambers, 49, of Boissevain has been charged with multiple offenses after a search warrant was executed at his residence at 693 Stephen Street on Friday, May 5.
Turtle Mountain RCMP with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Services searched the residence, coming up with a handgun and numerous other prohibited weapons. Chambers was remanded in custody to appear in Brandon Provincial Court at a future date.
He has been charged with Uttering Threats, Forcible Confinement and numerous weapons offenses. Boissevain Corporal Matt Robinson said he felt this was an important action for the authorities to take.
