The printed version of The Boissevain Recorder is coming to an end. It is taking a new direction by becoming an all-digital online publication.

The Boissevain Recorder origin goes back to 1899 and now, 127 years later, it is starting a new chapter. Transitioning to a digital format allows us to pivot without walking away from everything that has been built, and closing entirely. The final print edition of The Recorder will be published on December 18, 2026.

Our goal is to continue to be a valuable source to the region, to keep readers interested and informed of the news in the rural communities we serve. We understand there will be some bumps in the transition, to migrate your reading habits to the digital realm. We will continue to deliver a familiar newspaper experience online, replicate the print edition, layout and format, with some added features. Readers will be able to access the complete newspaper any time, anywhere and on any device. SUBSCRIBE PAGE
