What to wear

Do not wear white tops or light-coloured tops. The passport office requires there to be sufficient contrast between you and the white background of your photo.

Head coverings are not allowed unless they’re worn for religious reasons. If you do wear a head cover, it should also be dark-coloured to provide sufficient contrast against the white background of the photo.

You are not allowed to wear hats or have sunglasses in your hair when taking your photo.

Also avoid large and reflective pieces of jewelry or earrings.
We also don’t recommend wearing hair clips or hair accessories for adults or children.
